El coche blanco
That's right! We got a car! Don't you just love it?!?!
It's a white Toyota Rav4. I've always thought those cars are way cute and now we have one! And it's perfect for us! It has 4 wheel drive - which is essential in Nicaragua, it's pretty low on gas mileage , and it will have room for a baby! :)
Thanks for praying for us and with us! Again, the Lord provided in a wonderful way, at the perfect time!
Just another look, in case you missed it the first time!

34 weeks!
I haven't posted a belly pic in a while, so here you go! (I don't think it's the best picture ever of me) I feel really big (and swollen and hot). But people say, I don't look that big for being 34 weeks. Who knows, I've never been pregnant before!
I am at 34ish weeks! Which sounds crazy to me! That means in 6 weeks, we'll have a baby! I am excited to meet our little one and also there is a lot of anxiousness too! Like, I hope I can deliver this baby! And what if I'm no good at breast feeding (too much information???) And will our baby sleep well?? So many questions. The Lord is kind though and reminds me often that He is the one in control. I have basically done very little and He has grown and developed and protected this sweet baby. When I think of this, I am comforted by Him, His sovereignty, His faithfulness, and His love.
But I would love your prayers - for a safe (non c-section) delivery, for peace while we wait, for a good first few weeks with the baby, and anything else!

Mangos
There are many cool things about Nicaragua. Here's just an example. As I was coming home today, the guard at our apartment complex told me to stop and roll down my window.
(Side note: This guard's name is Hector and we like to call him Hector the Protector. I would not like to be on his bad side. He's one big, serious, gun-toting Nica)
He then asks if I want some mangos. I of course said yes!
Look at how huge they are (the banana is there to compare to)! And mangos here are good. I never really liked mangos in the states, but here, they are delicious.

The New Place
Here are some pictures of our new apartment! It is way exciting to us to be living here! And we really do feel like it is God's provision to us. We feel blessed that He provided for us!
This is the kitchen area. Way, way bigger than our old one! If you notice any cute decorations, they are courtesy of Michelle, Sami, and Julie!
The downstairs living area.
Where our kitchen table is. No one ever said I was good at taking pictures, huh? Yes, those are stairs you see in the picture. The first time I have ever lived anywhere with stairs inside the house.
This is the massive laundry area. It even has room for a washer, which we hope to get some time soon! It may not look nice, but it is!
This is the super cluttered, filled with baby items, upstairs living area. I plan on organizing soon!
Our bedroom. Usually the dinosaur pillow is not out, but for this special occasion, I put it on the bed! :) Since I'm pregnant, I need about 15 pillows to sleep - and we don't own all that many pillow cases!
This will be the baby's room, but right now we have some houseguests staying here.
And last but not least, our little balcony (that currently houses David's plants! I know what you're thinking about the paint job, but that's Nicaragua for ya! They like fun colors, which I think is great!
I hope you enjoyed the tour!

Happy Birthday David!
Today is David's 29th birthday!
I am so very thankful for him! And am especially thankful on his day of birth!!
Right now, David and I are going through a marriage class. It's been really good for us; as well as very humbling (Imagine that! I'm not as perfect as I think I am!) One of the exercises that we did was to list our spouse's strengths. When I was writing them down, I realized that David is good at a lot of things, especially a lot of things I am no good at! Here is just a glimpse of my list:
He is a man of integrity. He tells it like it is - regardless of it's going to hurt or not. He is beyond generous (when I like to "save" and hoard our money, stuff, etc!!) He is adventurous. He is constantly striving for better (in our marriage, spiritually, physically). And he loves me, even though I am way different than him and have a lot of areas to grow in!
I am so grateful the Lord gave me the gift of him. There is no one more perfectly suited for me!
Just a few pictures of David through our years together!

Un Blog sin picturas
Ok, I realize I have not been a good blogger lately! Sorry! I like to put pictures up when I blog and our camera has been without batteries for a while and so we have taken none! I know realize that is a sorry excuse! And I realized that you probably love just my words. Right?
Anyways, big things are happening here in Russellville! Ready for the exciting news!?! We're moving apartments! The current apartment we live in is probably 500 or so sq feet. It has been absolutely fine for us, but with the baby coming and people visiting I was starting to get a bit nervous! My thought was - Eventually this sweet baby will be walking and there is not a lot of space for that to happen. So, we've been praying/waiting for something else. Just recently, a townhouse in our apartment complex opened up and it is absolutely perfect for us! It's only $50 more a month and probably triple the amount of space!! It has 2 bedrooms upstairs and a living area. Downstairs it has a much bigger kitchen and a small living/dining/eating area. It also has a maid's quarters!!! Which we'll be using for a spare bedroom/guest room! So, you know what that means!! Come visit us!
I also just heard back from a friend that she can sub for me while I'm on maternity leave! Another answer to prayer! We really are so grateful for both of these things and it's a reminder to me of how the Lord provides and cares for our needs/wants!
This weekend we'll be moving, but I promise to get batteries soon and post some pictures of the new casa!
Hasta Luego!
